Mods:
the factory IRS was replaced with a built solid axle. An 8.8 out of a 2003 Mach I was stripped completely down. The axle is fully built including welded tubes, Detroit locker “Trutrac”, Moser 31 spline axles, BBK upper and lower control arms with Poly bushings, 3.73 gears, FRPP diff cover, studded main caps. It still has full ABS and all the factory options. This was performed by an ASE Master Tech, who has many years experience with this type of swap. $3,000 was spent on the Axle swap alone.
